Amrita Rao Hindi pronunciation: born June 17, 1981, is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood films.
Early in his career as a model, Rao made his debut in Ab Ke Baras quality (2002). He also took part in Ken Ghosh's love story Ishq Vishk (2003) and was nominated for the Filmfare Best Male Debut.
Rao was born in Mumbai in Chitrapur Saraswat Brahmin family. She speaks Marathi, Hindi, English and mother tongue, Konkani. He lived Canossa School of Mumbai, and then included in the College of Sofia with a degree in psychology. The younger sister, Preetika Rao, is an actress.
